Pieces of the Past Quilt Competition

Presented by Quilting Daily

Proudly announcing Quilting Daily’s first ever online Quilt Competition!

In celebration of fresh starts and new beginnings, Quilting Daily is honoring the community and industry it treasures by providing an opportunity to share amazing quilts with a world-wide audience.

This competition has been created to pay tribute to the heritage of quilting and quiltmakers by featuring outstanding quilts made within the last three years that echo the theme “Pieces of the Past”.

This theme can be broadly interpreted by makers as a literal or abstract concept and applied to all techniques and styles. Modern traditional quilts can fit the theme, as do contemporary art quilts that reference the past while being firmly planted in the 21st century.

As an avid quilter, this competition is for you! Finalists will be selected by the Quilting Daily editorial staff and winners will be chosen by certified quilt judge Christine N. Brown.

Imagine earning these amazing prizes: cash awards; an appearance on nationally broadcast PBS shows Quilting Arts TV or Love of Quilting TV; publication of your professionally photographed quilt in a national quilting magazine; and more. This is the opportunity of a lifetime
